Uptown gets its first free roaming dog park

That is right, Frazier Park opened its dog park yesterday making current and future Uptown dog owners (and their furry friends) smile. Located at 1201 West 4^th Street, Frazier Park is nearly 12 acres in size. It not only offers a dog park, but also soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, a community garden and playgrounds for children.
Also, since last month Mecklenburg County eliminated all fees and passes required to use its dog parks, all dog owners are free to enjoy this $50,000 addition. For more information on Frazier Park or any other dog park in Mecklenburg County visit the Park and Recreation website.
